Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping & Transactions: Reconciling bank statements, processing invoices, maintaining sales/purchase ledgers, and recording financial transactions accurately.
- AP/AR Support: Assisting with accounts payable and receivable, following up on outstanding dues, and monitoring client payments.
- Administrative Tasks: Handling documentation, filing, data entry, and answering supplier or client inquiries regarding payments.
- Reporting: Supporting the finance team by preparing basic financial schedules (fixed assets, prepayments, accruals) and assisting in preparation for audits.
- Payroll Support: Assisting with payroll processing and disbursing salaries.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, Quickbooks, or Odoo) and strong skills in spreadsheet software (Excel).
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry to minimize errors.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines (e.g., month-end closing).
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, vendors, and staff.
- Education: A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields is often required, or equivalent work experience
