The company seeks a reliable, meticulous, and knowledgeable Accounts Assistant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a wider regional team, working to ensure accounts are maintained and cashflow is balanced with the ultimate goal of contributing to the company's operational efficiency and success.
Job Description:
. Maintain financial recording in the ERP program
. Perform general entry bookkeeping
. Maintains general ledger accounts, reconciling accounts receivable and accounts payable details
. Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
. Assist Accountant in the preparation of monthly and yearly closing.
. Submit GST on behalf of the company.
. Manage cash flow, collections, and aging reports.
. Analyse and reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
. Inventory analysis.
. Maintain regular communication with manager and other staff and assist as needed
. Assist local auditors when required
. Support ad-hoc tasks when required
Requirements:
. Knowledge of Netsuite is a plus
. Minimum with 1 year of Accounting or Bookkeeping experience - including experience managing A/R, A/P, and performing basic accounting functions.
. Knowledge of basic bookkeeping or accounting principles.
. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
. Excellent interpersonal skills, professional appearance and demeanour.
. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel.
