Job Description

Candidate has to travel to Tuas for work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter supplier invoices into the accounting platform with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Generate payment vouchers and obtain appropriate authorizations.
  • Carry out payment transactions via bank transfers.
  • Update the accounting system with payment records to ensure accurate bookkeeping.
  • Email payment confirmations to vendors when needed.
  • Assist in account reconciliations and investigate any inconsistencies.
  • Draft journal entries and prepare related financial reports.
  • Address internal and external queries as needed.
  • Support the finance team with general administrative and miscellaneous tasks.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an ITE or Diploma program in Accounting or a similar field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting fundamentals.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision.
  • Experience with JDE and Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Able to work independently and cooperate well in a team environment.
