Job Scope for Accounts Assistant
The Accounts Assistant provides essential support to both the internal finance team and external clients by managing accounting entries, resolving queries, and ensuring timely and accurate financial records. This role requires good communication skills, attention to detail, and a service-oriented mindset.
- Core Accounting & Bookkeeping - Handle daily accounting tasks, including data entry for invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries. Ensure client financial records are accurately updated, maintained, and reconciled. Prepare monthly management reports, bank reconciliations, and GST returns for clients as required. Maintain well-organized financial records for multiple client accounts in accordance with internal standards.
- Client Relations & Coaching - Conduct training and one-on-one system coaching sessions for clients. Follow up with clients promptly to gather missing documents or clarify details needed for bookkeeping. Assist the sales team by showcasing products and services to potential customers through software demonstrations. Coordinate with internal teams to prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits, tax filings, and financial reviews
- 5-Day Work Week: Typically, the Office Administrator works a standard 5-day work week, Monday through Friday, with regular office hours. However, the specific working hours may vary depending on the organization's policies and requirements.

Qualifications and Experience
- O level or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of working experience preferred (for management trainee)
- Accountant, Bookkeeper or Customer Service experience preferred
- Knowledge and experience with Accounting software would be an advantage
- Immediate availability preferred
