Accounts Assistant Work Duties / Responsibilities
- Providing support to the Accounts Department.
- Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
- Controlling credit and chasing debt.
- Invoice processing and filing.
- Liaising with third parties.
- Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the superior.
Accounts Assistant Qualifications / Requirements
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately.
- Analytical thinker and problem solver.
- Associate's diploma in related field with work experience.
- Proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software.
- Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
- Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software.
- High level of accuracy.
- Extremely organised in a manner that is easily read by others.
- Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
- Administrative skills.
- The ability to work under pressure.
