The Accounts Assistant supports the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the company. This role is suitable for a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable handling full sets of accounts in a corporate environment and can work independently with accuracy and confidentiality.
The position involves routine accounting functions, coordination with external parties, and support for month-end and reporting activities. Clear communication in both English and Mandarin is required for work-related coordination.
Handle full sets of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing
Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, bank reconciliations, and accounting schedules
Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial statements
Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, and external service providers
Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial information
Support ad-hoc finance-related tasks assigned by the Finance Manager
Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably handling full sets of accounts
Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate clearly in each language
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Able to work independently and handle confidential information responsibly
Experience in investment, financial services, or private equity firms is an advantage
