Our Accounts Assistant/Executive supports the Finance Manager in managing the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the company. This role is responsible for handling transactional accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the timely processing of payments and reconciliations. Working closely with the Finance Manager plays a key part in supporting month-end closings, compliance requirements, and providing financial data for decision-making.
What you'll be doing
- Performing a range of accounting tasks such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliations
- Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation
- Providing administrative support to the finance team as needed
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial processes are efficient and compliant
What we're looking for
- Nitec or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounts or finance role
- Candidates with F&B exposure will have an advantage
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (i.e. QuickBooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
