Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage accounts payable functions, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers and reconciling supplier statements and audit confirmations.

  2. Manage payments to Malaysia subsidiaries and reconcile related accounts.

  3. Check and process monthly salesman claims.

  4. Prepare salesmen commissions.

  5. Monitor debtors collections, handle customer inquiries, and reconcile balances.

  6. Prepare accounts for associate company and review financial reports of representative office.

  7. Coordinate with external auditors.

  8. Oversee yearly filing and disposal of accounting documents.

  9. Control and order stationery supplies for the department.

  10. Reconcile consignment inventory.

  11. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma and above in Accounting & Finance or related field.

  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
