Job Summary
You will support the finance team by accurately handling bookkeeping tasks, processing payments, verifying claims, managing invoices, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable duties to maintain smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Enter financial data accurately to maintain consistent and efficient bookkeeping records
- Process and issue payments while organizing related documentation for easy retrieval
- Verify staff claims and expenditures by asking relevant questions to ensure validity before approval
- Review bills and invoices to identify and correct errors, preventing overpayments
- Schedule bank transactions and prepare pay slips to support payroll processes
- Manage invoices to assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
- Perform administrative tasks assigned by management to support daily operations
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, to manage financial data and reports effectively
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail by maintaining accuracy in data entry and financial records
- Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
