As a Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Manage billing tasks, payment arrangements, and timely posting of collections.
- Handle queries on patient accounts, vendor payments, and financial matters.
- Process vendor invoices, staff claims, and other payables.
- Prepare payments and reconcile vendor statements.
- Maintain monthly general ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and upload journal entries for month-end closing.
- Compile audit schedules and provide audit support when required.
- Coordinate with auditors and address audit findings or variances.
- Support system implementation and related change-management activities.
- Monitor fund utilisation and recommend process improvements as needed.
Requirements:
- Higher Nitec or Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years relevant experience, background in FP&A and/or familiarity with costing and pricing.
- Experience within healthcare will be an advantage.
