The candidate shall be responsible for the full-spectrum of bookkeeping and accounting duties as follows:-
Bookkeeping Duties
1) To perform day to day bookkeeping functions relating to AR, AP and GL to ensure all transactions made are captured in the accounting system
2) To compute and process payments, claims and payroll including timely submission of CPF to the CPF Board
3) To record and update payments received and payments paid
4) To prepare bank reconciliation statements and to prepare and submission of GST report
5) To prepare monthly financial statements and reports for presentation at Council meetings
Accounting Duties
1) To maintain a full set of accounts in accordance with the Institute's internal policies and the Singapore Financial Reporting (FRS) standard
2) To liaise with external auditor and tax agent in relation to the auditing of the accounts
Administrative Duties
1) To manage office administration and daily operations in relation to accounting matters
2) To maintain office files, records and documentation of accounting records
3) To handle correspondence (emails, letters ,etc.,) relating to accounting matters
4) To co-ordinate with vendors, suppliers and service providers
5) To manage office supplies and inventory
6) To assist HR relating to attendance, leave records and payroll
Requirements:
. Min. Diploma in Accountancy/Business or equivalent
. Min 3-5 year(s) relevant hands-on experience in handling full spectrum of accounting duties. Proficient in Accounting Software - MYOB
. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
. Excellent Time Management Skills
. Responsible and Able to Fulfil Tight Deadlines
. Organized, Neat, Meticulous
Salary range - $3,000 - $3.500
