We are looking for a meticulous Accounts & Admin Assistant (Accounts Payable) to support our finance and administrative functions in the construction industry.
The ideal candidate should be organized, proactive, and familiar with construction-related accounting and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle accounts payables, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
- Assist in progress claims, variation orders, and project cost tracking
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with monthly closing
- Support ordering of materials and stock, procurement, supplier management, and inventory tracking
- Ensure proper documentation of contracts, purchase orders, and safety records
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies
- Handle general office administration and ad-hoc tasks
- Financial schedule and support Audit process
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in construction or related industries preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero)
- Knowledge of BCA guidelines, MOM regulations, and industry-related compliance is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
