Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain CAPEX flux commentary to support financial analysis and reporting.
- Prepare, document, and maintain SOX controls related to fixed assets.
- Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with US GAAP.
- Perform account reconciliations and reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with company fixed asset policies and procedures.
- Prepare fixed asset roll forward schedules on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Support internal and external audit inquiries related to fixed assets.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and respond to management requests regarding fixed assets.
- Assist with other fixed asset-related tasks as directed by the line manager.
Qualifications & Requirements
- BS or BA in accounting, or similar degree required, CPA/ACA preferred
- Min. 5 yrs of experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting is a plus.
- Prior experience in a large public company is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Oracle Fixed Assets and GL modules is a plus.
- Proven ability to work effectively as a team player.
- Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of full-cycle fixed asset accounting, including capitalized interest, percentage of completion, asset retirement obligations, depreciation, and amortization useful life analysis, is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and implement process improvements.
- Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
- Experience with PBCS is a plus.
