Apex Engineering Pte. Ltd. is looking for a responsible, experienced and detail-oriented Female Accounts Officer to support our daily accounting, billing and finance operations.
The ideal candidate must have prior working experience in a Construction / PCM / Manpower Supply company in Singapore, with strong knowledge in timecard-based client billing, GST, payroll support, accounts handling and financial record management.
The candidate should also be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and have good working knowledge of accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
- Prepare and issue client invoices accurately based on workers timecards, attendance records and jobsite work records
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and payment collections
- Maintain proper billing records and supporting documents
- Prepare and update Statement of Accounts (SOA) when required
- Assist in monthly payroll support and salary-related records
- Monitor and verify worker cost-related records where necessary
- Ensure proper handling of GST computation, invoicing and related accounting records
- Assist in preparing documents for GST submission and financial reporting
- Perform bank reconciliation and maintain accurate accounting entries
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain proper accounting files
- Liaise with operations, HR and clients for billing clarification and supporting documents
- Maintain organized records for invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and accounting documents
- Support management with finance-related administrative work when required
Requirements
- Female candidate preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in Singapore
- Must have experience in Construction / PCM / Manpower Supply company
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in client billing based on workers timecards
- Good understanding of Singapore GST and related accounting practices
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
(e.g. formulas, data organization, billing sheets, reconciliation, reporting, etc.) - Must have good knowledge of accounting software
- Good understanding of general accounting processes including AP, AR, invoicing and reconciliation
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to work independently
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Able to handle confidential financial information responsibly
Preferred Advantage
Candidates with the following experience will have an added advantage:
- Experience handling construction/manpower client invoicing
- Experience with payroll-related support work
- Experience preparing SOA, billing summaries and payment follow-ups
- Experience working with high-volume invoice and timesheet records
