Our client, a well-known company is looking for candidates for the position of Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities
- Handling accounting tasks for multiple clients
- Manage full sets of accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare financial statements and reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
- Bank reconciliation and cash flow monitoring
- Fixed asset management and depreciation calculations
- Expense claims review and processing
- Support for GST and corporate tax filings
- Liaison with auditors, tax agents, and government authorities
- Preparation of audit documentation
- Data entry and reporting using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Development and training on internal accounting policies
- Keeping up with government updates, grants, and regulatory changes
- Inventory management and stocktaking
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; ability to meet tight deadlines
- Responsible team player with a proactive attitude
- Knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and tax regulations (SFRS, GST)
- Experience in payroll processing, CPF contributions, and IR8A submissions
