Accounting Manager (Shipping)

The Company

Join a Global Leader in the marine industry, headquartered in Singapore with global presence. Due to evolving business needs, we are actively recruiting for an Accounting Manager to be based in the Singapore office.

The Role

Reporting to the CFO and leading a small team, you will be responsible for driving the preparation of group financial statements as well as entity financial statements of the companies within the group in accordance with IFRS and SFRS. The key responsibilities include statutory compliance (audit and tax), liaising with the Group Auditor on audit issues and their resolutions. Prepares tax schedules and review income tax computation. Compiles and submits periodic management reports. Prepares annual budget/quarterly forecast and coordinates with different departments. Last but not least, provide guidance to the Finance team and support any other ad hoc projects relating to finance.

Your Profile

To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a shipping MNC and/or prior Big 4 experience. This role requires hands-on experience in Excel. We are looking for a meticulous, analytical, technically competent Accounting Manager with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
