Role Description
The Accounting Manager / Management Accountant / Financial Analyst is responsible for managing financial operations, reporting, and analysis to support business decision-making. This role focuses on ensuring accurate financial records, optimizing financial performance, and providing insights to management.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Monitoring financial performance, analyzing variances, and providing recommendations
- Managing accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
- Conducting financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to support strategic decisions
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
- Supporting audits and liaising with external auditors when necessary
- Collaborating with management and other departments to optimize financial processes
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Assisting with cost analysis, investment evaluations, and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA are advantageous
- Proven experience in accounting, financial analysis, or management accounting roles
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, Excel)
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently or in a part-time, full-time, or hybrid setting
