The company is a boutique service provider to the legal industry and MNCs around the world. We are hiring an Accounting Manager to handle a full set of accounts. The Manager will report directly to the CEO and will also need to directly handle all invoicing and claims management.
Key Duties:
- Oversee comprehensive accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger maintenance, and financial reporting in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Generate accurate financial statements to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, such as posting journal entries, reconciling bank accounts, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring adequate cash flow for operations.
- Ensure timely and precise filing of tax obligations, including corporate tax, GST/SST, and withholding tax.
- Maintain records for fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and provisions with accuracy.
- Contribute to budgeting, financial forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
- Uphold internal controls, company policies, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned to support business needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, complemented by a CPA certification.
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end accounting processes.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is an asset.
