Job Description
Plan, review and oversee the preparation of monthly accounts for a portfolio of client companies.
Manage and supervise the month-end closing process for multiple client portfolios to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Lead and supervise a team of accountants executives in delivering accounting services.
Review financial records and accounting schedules prepared by team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements where required for client groups.
Provide guidance and support to the team on accounting treatments and technical accounting matters.
Work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to support financial management and reporting requirements.
Monitor workflow and allocate assignments within the accounting team to ensure efficient delivery of client services.
Support continuous improvement of accounting processes, internal controls and reporting practices.
Assist in addressing complex accounting matters or special transactions where required.
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience
At least 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Xero knowledge/hands on experience are preferred. Alternatively, you need to take a 10 hours online training to be Xero Certified Advisor
Must have reasonable accounting qualification and experiences
Experience in system implementation or process automation within finance operations is highly desirable.
Strong leadership, analytical skill and problem-solving.
Must owned a working computer and must have decent Internet speed (speed test of minimum 20mbps) for work purposes.
