Accounting Intern (Finance)

Role Overview

We're looking for an Accounting Intern to support our Finance team in daily operations and assist with the rollout of a new financial system. This internship offers practical exposure to how an in-house accounting team functions - ideal for students exploring a career in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Core finance operations: Assist with accounts payable/receivable, employee claims, and purchase requisitions
• Reporting and analysis: Help prepare financial reports, perform reconciliations, and support variance analysis
• System implementation support: Contribute to data checks and documentation as we roll out a new financial system - a chance to see how finance and technology intersect.
• Process improvement: Participate in documenting workflows and identifying areas for streamlining
• Cross-functional exposure: Depending on your interests and performance, you may also get a chance to observe or assist with our treasury and investment operations, budgeting, audit prep, or finance-related support for our business units (e.g., transport consultancy, events).

Requirements

. Pursuing a diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

. Basic understanding of accounting principles

. Proficient in Excel and MS Office

. Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn

. Prior internship experience is a plus, but not required
