Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting
- Lead and mentor the accounting and HR teams, reviewing work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Oversee the delivery of accounting, tax, and corporate services to maintain high service standards
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely completion
- Maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in Singapore
- Drive process improvements and introduce technology solutions, including AI and automation, to improve operational efficiency
Operations& Business Development
- Oversee operational functions and provide support across accounting and HR matters
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow the firm's client base
- Work closely with partners on strategic initiatives and operational planning
- Provide hands-on support and guidance to the team on complex accounting matters
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high service quality
- Support ad-hoc operational and administrative matters as required
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with a recognized professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA)
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in full-set accounting roles
- Strong accounting background with prior audit experience preferred, with progression into senior finance or accounting management roles
- Experience handling multiple entities or group structures
- Prior experience leading a team will be an advantage.
- Hands-on, and willing to work on the ground with the team, not purely managerial
- Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring and reviewing team members work
- Business development experience or the drive to grow client relationships
- Knowledge of AI tools or process automation will be an advantage
- Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
