About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous and self-motivated Accounting Bookkeeper to join us. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and liaising professionally with clients. This role requires a mature-minded individual who can workindependently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
- Prepare GST submissions and ensure compliance with IRAS filing deadlines and reporting standards.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of corporate tax computations and related returns.
- Prepare compilation of unaudited financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Prepare and file XBRL reports accurately in compliance with ACRA requirements.
- Administer payroll processing, CPF submissions, and statutory-related matters.
- Manage in-house accounting functions, including cash flow monitoring and management reports.
- Liaise professionally with clients on bookkeeping, and payroll matters, providing timely and accurate guidance.
- Work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification (e.g., ACCA, LCCI).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably within a corporate service provider or SME environment.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Mature, resourceful, and able to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
