About the Role
Our client, a growing company in the e-commerce and advertising space, is in the process of building a capable offshore accounting team. The successful candidate will handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, assist in financial reconciliations, and support accounting operations under the guidance of the U.S.-based Accounting Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and categorize daily financial transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payment processors
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Support monthly and year-end closing activities
- Prepare account schedules and internal financial reports
- Maintain organized and audit-ready financial documentation
- Collaborate with the U.S. accounting team to resolve discrepancies or documentation issues
- Perform general accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience with U.S. clients and QuickBooks Online (QBO) preferred
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Amazon or Shopify is a plus
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills
- Reliable internet connection and availability during partial or full U.S. business hours
