Accounting Assistant Manager

We are a public accounting corporation in Singapore looking for an experienced Accounting Assistant Manager to join our team.

The ideal candidate has relevant experience in a public accounting firm or outsourced accounting environment,is confident in handling and reviewing full sets of accounts, and is able to manage client portfolios, supervise junior staff, and meet reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of accounting clients
• Review full sets of accounts, management accounts, and schedules
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare and review financial statements and GST workings
• Liaise with clients, auditors, tax agents, and internal stakeholders
• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years relevant accounting experience in Singapore
• Experience in a public accounting firm / accounting firm / outsourced accounting environment
• Strong experience in full sets of accounts
• Able to review work independently and manage deadlines
• Familiar with Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, ABSS, or similar systems
• Good communication, organisational, and supervisory skills
• ACCA / CA Singapore / ISCA qualification or progress towards one will be an advantage
