Our client operates a national biomedical research facility supporting high containment and translational research critical to public health preparedness. They are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to support end-to-end finance operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification, payment processing and reconciliation of transactions.
- Prepare month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations and fixed asset accounting.
- Generate accurate monthly management reports, schedules and variance analysis for financial reporting.
- Maintain proper financial documentation, resolve discrepancies and liaise with vendors and customers on payment matters.
- Support audits, tax matters and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen accounting controls and processes.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and time management skills with high attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint experience with S4/HANA Cloud is an advantage.
- Self-driven, responsive and adaptable, with the ability to rotate across AP, AR and GL functions as required.
