Accounting & Regulatory Reporting Manager

Overview

You will join the Accounting & Regulatory Reporting Department and you will handle MAS regulatory reporting within the department, ensuring compliance with the Banking Act and MAS Notices to Banks.You will participate in the coordination of annual statutory reporting, tax computation, and FATCA/CRS submissions, and liaise with auditors and tax consultants. You will also support Head Office management reporting, exception remediation, automation/process improvements, and month-end close, serving as reviewer for key reconciliations, GST, audit confirmations, and AP entries.

What you'll be doing

• Review/prep daily MAS reports; validate and submit returns;
• Perform variance analysis; resolve regulator/business/support queries
• Coordinate annual statutory disclosures and prepare branch tax computations in support to Head Office tax requests;
• Submit FATCA/CRS; liaise with auditors/tax consultants for queries
• Prepare Head Office management reporting and respond to ad-hoc MI requests, ensuring compliance with operational guides/local regulations;
• Represent Accounting in cross-department projects and participate in month-end close;
• Act as reviewer for AP, Corona reconciliations, GST, and audit confirmations.

Who we are looking for

• 3-5 years of experience in similar role;
• accounting Degree, ACCA or other equivalent accounting qualifications
• strong Excel and automation processes knowledge
• strong familiarity with regulatory requirements and accounting tasks
• high proficiency in English
