Job Description

Role Overview

This role supports clients in meeting accounting, statutory, and compliance requirements under Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The position involves end-to-end accounting support, preparation of financial statements, and close coordination with clients to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general ledger maintenance and accurate data entry
  • Code and process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices
  • Prepare cheque payments and reimburse employee expense claims
  • Maintain full sets of accounts and supporting schedules
  • Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with SFRS/IFRS
  • Coordinate with clients on day-to-day accounting matters and resolve queries
  • Monitor and manage client deliverables to ensure agreed timelines are met
  • Support advisory work related to financial reporting and compliance matters

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience handling full sets of accounts
  • Proven experience in compilation of statutory financial statements
  • Strong numerical aptitude with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a structured, deadline-driven environment

Systems & Tools

  • Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Sage 300 and Xero is preferred
