Job description
- Maintain full sets of accounts (AP, AR, GL) and reconcile vessel transactions
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables from charterers
- Perform month-end closing: journals, accruals, reconciliation
- Prepare vessel-specific P&L statements and supporting schedules
- Maintain fixed assets register and calculate depreciation
- Track vessel capital expenditure and dry-docking costs
- Collaborate with Operations, Technical, and Commercial teams on financial matters
- Compute IFRS 16 lease schedules
- Prepare drawdown requests, loan servicing documents, and liaise with banks
- Maintain vessel loan records, including principal and interest schedules
- Prepare quarterly and year-end schedules and consolidation packages
- Assist in preparation of annual budget and forecasts
- Liaise with accounting system vendor for troubleshooting or upgrades
- Perform special duties as required
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree, preferable with Chartered Accountant (CA) and Certified Public Accountant(CPA)
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
3. Technical Skills: Microsoft Office
4. Soft Skills: Communication, Positive attitude, Teamwork, Problem-solving, Meticulous and Attention to detail
