Role Description
We are seeking an Accountant to support our Finance & Treasury Centre operations in Singapore. The successful candidate will gain exposure to full-set accounting, treasury reporting, financial statements, regulatory reporting, cash flow management and SAP-based financial operations.:
Responsibilities
- Maintain full set of accounts and General Ledger (GL)
- Prepare annual financial statements
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
- Liaise with external auditors and support audit requirements
- Prepare management reports and internal financial reporting
- Assist with regulatory and statutory reporting requirements
- Prepare withholding tax and other tax submissions
- Monitor daily cash flow and treasury activities
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
- Maintain accounting records in SAP ERP system
- Assist in financial analysis and reporting for management decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- At least 2 years of work experience
- Prior experience in accounting, audit, financial reporting, treasury operations, financial institutions, or professional services environments will be an advantage.
- Experience in SAP would be an advantage
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets
- High attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
