Accountant

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
• Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
• Manage bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities
• Prepare and submit GST /VAT filings and other tax-related matters
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Support ad-hoc financial reporting and management requests

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CPA) is an added advantage
• Minimum 3 years of experience handling full set of accounts and cost analysis. Experience working in semiconductor/electronics industry a plus
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
