Description
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for regional entities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, accounting, and filing requirements across relevant jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and service providers.
- Manage bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Process and monitor payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Partner closely with finance and operational teams to support business reporting requirements.
- Assist management with financial analysis, reporting, and ad hoc projects.
Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Experience within the shipping, maritime, dry bulk, commodity trading, logistics, or related sectors.
- Candidates from accounting firms who have worked extensively with shipping or maritime clients are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Good understanding of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
- Strong accounting knowledge with experience managing reporting and compliance activities.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively within a lean team environment.
- Detail-oriented, practical, and able to follow established processes and business requirements.
- Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
