Accountant / Senior Accounts Executive

About the Company:
Crafted Habitat Pte Ltd is a growing firm specializing in building construction, general contracting, and interior design services. We pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship and integrity. We are looking for a meticulous and motivated Accountant to join our team and manage our financial operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Full Sets of Accounts: Manage the full spectrum of accounts including General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).[

• Project Accounting: Track project costs, manage work-in-progress (WIP) schedules, and handle progressive billings/milestone payments common in the construction/ID industry.

• Tax & Compliance: Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings. Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).

• Financial Reporting: Perform month-end and year-end closing. Prepare timely financial statements and management reports for the Directors.

• Cash Flow Management: Monitor daily cash flow and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.

• Audit & Liaison: Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries for statutory requirements.

• Process Improvement: Assist in improving accounting workflows and internal controls to enhance efficiency.

Job Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent (CPA/ACCA candidates are a plus).

• Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in handling full sets of accounts.

• Industry Knowledge: Experience in Construction or Interior Design industries is highly preferred (familiarity with project costing and progressive billing).

• Software Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Attributes: High level of accuracy, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.

• Compliance: Good understanding of Singapore's tax laws and GST regulations.

Salary & Employment Details

• Monthly Salary: S3,300 - 4,500

• Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

• Location: Ubi / Central-East Area (based on company registration)
