Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting functions, including journal entries, accruals, and bank reconciliations using ERP systems.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing, adhering to internal controls and reporting deadlines.
- Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and operational dashboards.
- Handle corporate tax filings, GST submissions, and coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits.
- Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in developing annual budgets, periodic rolling forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes for greater efficiency.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities and corporate headquarters.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes and systems.
- Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Chartered Accountant (CA/CPA) qualification.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial reporting, preferably within the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis, modeling, reporting, and data management.
- Experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of local and regional tax regulations, GST, and import compliance.
