Accountant

Role Summary:

Overall purpose of the job:

To ensure local company comply with all statutory, taxation and external requirements and regulations.

To ensure effective financial monitoring and reporting of financial operations, compliance to internal/ external audits.

Key responsibilities:

• Financial Accounting and reporting.
• Legal & Company secretariat matters.
• Affairs of Company with IRAS - Corporate Tax, GST, withholding taxes
• Manage Auditors, Tax and other Consultants.
• Implementation & Supervision of Internal Controls Measures.
• Other Ad Hoc measures where applicable

Personal specification:

Essential:

• Qualified CPA - including relevant post qualification / experience.
• Minimum 6 years of post-graduate experience, 3 years of experience of handling full set of accounts.
• SuperUser in SAP HANA or equivalent.
• Proficiency in financial accounting & reporting, including external statutory reporting.
• Demonstrated knowledge to handle both external & internal audit.
• Good grasp of Singapore company laws, taxation laws & its applications.
