ACCOUNTANT
Key Areas of Responsibility
Financial Management
- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, including recording accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries in the company's accounting ledger.
- Perform account analyses to ensure entries and balances are accurate.
- Partner with the FP&A, evaluate and present BU results to HOD and management
- Reconcile accounts with the general ledger.
- Ensure that all entries are accurate and that transactions are reported in accordance with accounting standards and government regulations.
- Prepare balance sheet and P&L schedules
- Assist with management reporting and recharges
- Process Suppliers invoices and posting in accounting system
- Month end external and intercompany billing
- Involvement in annual and interim external and internal audits
- Perform revenue billing to clients and follow up on collection
- Work with tax agents to prepare and finalise tax returns, and answer tax queries (if any)
- Special Finance projects
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification
- 5 7 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, group consolidation, or audit
- Experience working in multi-entity or multinational environments preferred
- Exposure to corporate tax compliance and external audit coordination is an advantage
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting processes
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of integrity and professionalism
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills
