A leading 3PL logistics company is looking for an Accountant to:
- Manage a team of six finance and accounts staff for the Singapore group of companies
- Oversee accounting, financial, treasury, taxation, audit, and statutory compliance functions
- Ensure accuracy, propriety, confidentiality, and timely preparation of financial statements and management accounts
- Ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST regulations, and J-SOX policies
- Supervise accounting entries, payment reviews, funding positions, and internal control systems
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, corporate secretary, IRAS, and relevant authorities on statutory and audit matters
- Prepare quarterly reports, financial surveys, audit schedules, and year-end financial statements
- Train, supervise, motivate, and manage staff performance and welfare within the department
- Safeguard company assets through effective internal controls and authorised transaction processes
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accountancy/Finance
- Minimum 2-3 Years Relevant Experience preferred in a Warehouse/Logistic industry
- Knowledge of accounting software eg. SAP
- Strong, Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good Communication and Team Collaboration Skills
