Job Summary
Manage full sets of accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. Support management with timely analysis and coordinate statutory compliance and external audits.
Responsibilities
- Manage full sets of accounts by reviewing journal entries, preparing schedules, and performing accurate reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and verify all financial transactions are properly recorded, supported, and compliant with internal policies
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports with timely analysis to support management decision-making
- Execute day-to-day operational accounting tasks while ensuring proper accountability, documentation, and adherence to financial controls
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, and local tax and government authorities to facilitate compliance and reporting
- Ensure statutory compliance reporting including audit coordination, income tax, and GST submissions are completed accurately and on time
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by immediate supervisor
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing full sets of accounts with strong knowledge of financial and accounting principles
- Good understanding of compliance requirements including internal controls, audit processes, and regulatory standards
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in the Automotive industry
