Job Title
Accountant (Taiwan Subsidiary Support)
Location
Singapore
Key Responsibilities
. Handle daily accounting and finance operations for the Taiwan subsidiary, including general ledger, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, expense review, and month-end closing
. Coordinate with external accountants/bookkeepers in Taiwan on statutory accounting, tax filings, and audit matters
. Assist in setting up and improving finance processes, reporting templates, and accounting schedules
. Manage intercompany reconciliation and finance coordination between the Taiwan subsidiary and Singapore headquarters
. Support cost accounting, inventory management, fixed asset management, and financial analysis
. Prepare monthly management reports, cash flow analysis, and budget tracking reports
. Perform other finance-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
. Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or related disciplines
. At least 5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience, with the ability to handle full-set accounts independently
. Prior experience in manufacturing, equipment, electronics components, or assembly-related industries is preferred
. Experience in inventory management, cost accounting, and fixed asset accounting is preferred
. Cross-border finance experience, or experience supporting Taiwan entity accounting/audit/tax matters, is a plus
. Good command of both Chinese and English for cross-border communication and documentation
. Proficient in Excel and accounting/ERP systems
. Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently with good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
. Familiarity with Taiwan accounting/tax environment or statutory reporting process
. Experience in setting up accounting systems and finance workflows for a new entity
. Experience in management reporting and intercompany reconciliation.
