Group/Division

KLA is well known for its high-performing business model which routinely produces significant profit margins and revenue. Key to supporting KLA business is the finance team that partners with corporate and global business organizations to provide expertise and guidance for developing and executing sound business models and practices. The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Close

. Manage a full set of accounts, including month-end and year-end closing activities
. Prepare accurate journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses
. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards

Intercompany & Regional Transactions

. Process and reconcile intercompany transactions with related parties
. Support accounting activities across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local requirements
. Coordinate with regional stakeholders on accounting matters

Tax & Statutory Compliance

. Prepare accurate VAT/GST and corporate income tax computations
. Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, IRAS regulations, US GAAP, and applicable overseas accounting standards
. Support statutory filings and regulatory submissions for Singapore and regional entities

Audit & External Coordination

. Coordinate year-end financial and tax audits
. Liaise with external auditors and tax agents across Singapore and other jurisdictions
. Prepare audit schedules and respond to audit queries in a timely manner

Government Grants & Regional Exposure

. Support accounting and reporting for government grants
. Apply accounting knowledge across non-Singapore jurisdictions (e.g. other Southeast Asian countries)

Process & Controls

. Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies
. Identify opportunities for process improvements and regional standardisation

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including exposure to regional or overseas accounting

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles across multiple jurisdictions

  • Hands-on experience with SAP is required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Effective communicator able to work across cultures and regions
