Job Description

ACCOUNTANT

About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you are a meticulous contributor supported by a Senior Executive to handle full spectrum of end-to-end finance function (including accounting, cash management, GST/Tax), financial reporting and management accounting, audit as well as compliances with applicable financial, tax and other regulations across a portfolio of entities mainly investment holding and inactive companies. You are required to be hands-on both transactions and reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting

  • Oversee and execute day-to-day financial operations and transactions management, inter-company transactions and reconciliations
  • Oversee and maintains accurate financial records and audit schedules,
  • Assists with group consolidation accounts
  • Responsible for annual statutory audit including preparation of annual accounts/reports, timely Group reporting and statutory filing,

Management Accounting

  • Variance analysis on a portfolio of entities for timely and accurate management reporting.
  • Review and assists with entities annual budget and rolling forecast submission.

Treasury and others

  • Preparing monthly Treasury report, working capital requirements, cash flows and funding requirements, review and execution of bank settlements and payments transactions, maintenance of bank records, and liaison with bank officers.
  • Liaises with Company Secretary to ensure compliance with statutory filings and returns, as well as other matters including board resolutions and maintenance of entities details.
  • Ensures proper execution of internal controls governance, and processes follow internal controls and group policies

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in this role, ideally in an SGX-listed or group finance environment.
  • Ability to work with people in different levels of the organization.
  • Meticulous and keen eye for details; strong financial analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Committed, confident personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates with a shorter notice period and experience in consolidation accounts are preferred, but not mandatory.
