This is an exciting opportunity to join the finance team as a Senior Accountant. In this full-time role based in Chai Chee, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial support and insights to drive the company's continued growth and success.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements for Singapore and Asia subsidiaries to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Management reporting and cost analysis including price review for Singapore.
- Team lead for SAP GL system.
- Issuing of inter-company related DN/CN and passing entries into SAP system periodically.
- Responsible for tax review and filing as well as the reporting requirements of Head Office.
- Review GST filing, consolidate group filing and reconciliation of GST for revenue.
- Responsible for supervision and co-ordination with shared services team.
- Preparation and support for annual financial audit which includes preparing of schedules and checking of computation for tax return etc.
Requirements :
- Min Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Min 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in a manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks while also collaborating within a team.
- Meticulous, well-organised, and able to meet tight reporting deadlines.
- Able to travel within Asia quarterly.
