Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist to manage & oversee full spectrum of accounting operations by adhering to statutory requirements.
- Ensures full compliance with accounting principles, policies and procedures, balance sheet reviews and internal controls processes.
- Responsible for all aspects of financial and management reporting function and statutory reporting on time.
- Assist in implementation and improvement of accounting and internal control procedures and processes.
- Manage administration and proper records of payments, cheque, invoices, receipts, bank statements.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of accounting documents and records.
- Manage the submission of quarterly GST returns and annual corporate tax filing.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
- Prepare and review closing entries, adjustments and schedules (including HDB adjustment).
- Attend to ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy with at least 4 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Strong leadership, people management and organisational skills
- Detail-oriented, meticulous and diligent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel etc.)
- Experience with Construction ERP system will be an advantage.
