We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee the full spectrum of accounting and financial records for our Australia unit. In addition to this core responsibility, the successful candidate will assist with Group consolidation accounts and support other tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Job Description:
. Manage the financial and statutory accounting for entity assigned.
. Prepare monthly financial reports, such as managing asset accounting, creating journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating year-end financial reports.
. Prepare WIP and provide recommendation on project profitability and cost optimisation.
. Compute key financial indicators and provide trend analysis of financials.
. Involve in the preparation of group budgets and forecasts.
. Liaise with internal and external auditors for filing on time.
. Handle tax matters including the quarterly GST filing and corporate tax.
. Ad-hoc duties assigned and this may include review of policies and procedure.
Requirements:
. Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications
. At least 3 years of relevant working experience in construction
. Proficient in MS Office applications
. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
. Meticulous and able to work independently
. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with HQ colleagues in China.
