Our client is a leading consumer goods company with a strong market presence and a commitment to innovation, quality, and operational excellence. They are looking for a meticulous and proactive Accountant to oversee end-to-end accounting operations for Singapore entity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts receivable/payable, and fixed assets.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings in compliance with Group and statutory reporting requirements.
- Prepare and monitor cash flow reports, ensuring effective cash management and forecasting.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises.
- Coordinate and support annual audit activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity in reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience and 1-2 years of experience in audit firms, preferably with exposure to the consumer goods or FMCG sector.
- Proven experience in SAP accounting systems.
- Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and statutory requirements.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.
