Job Description

SME seeking key accounts person to take charge and modernize this function.

Applicants should be knowledgeable, honest with themselves, able to keep to schedules, willing to update their knowledge and work sincerely with management and colleagues on top of the usual responsibilities.

Experience in/with a construction/engineering company and project claims process is a strong advantage.

  • Monthly closing
  • Full set of accounting - updating and maintenance of general ledger
  • Transactional entry of accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) in the accounting software
  • Preparation of consolidated P&L and balance sheet schedules
  • Reconciling inter-company balances and transactions
  • Preparation of the statutory financials and associated audit
  • To ensure all accounts and XBRL are submitted to ACRA in prescribed timeline
  • Liaise with internal and external service providers (auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary etc.)
  • HR - monthly payroll, IR8A annual submission, government subsidiary claim i.e. childcare leave, paternity etc.
  • Treasury - management of cash flow and review payment prepared by account assistant.
  • Support in ad hoc assignment as and when required

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, ACCA/CPA qualified or equivalent with at least 3-5 years post qualification working experience including preparation of full set of financial and management reports
  • You will lead a team of 2
  • SAP B1 experience please
