Job Description - Accountant cum HR

Position Title: Accountant cum HR
Location: One Raffles Place, Tower 2, Singapore 048616
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Managing Director / Finance Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and versatile Accountant cum HR to oversee both accounting and human resource functions in our consulting firm. The successful candidate will manage accurate financial records, including GST reporting for our clients companies, ensure statutory compliance, and handle HR operations such as Employment Pass, Dependant Pass, Long-Term Visit Pass, PR, and Singapore Citizenship applications for our high-end clientele. This dual-role position requires a detail-oriented professional who can work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting

  • Manage full sets of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation for clients companies (managing 10-25 clients portfolio & full sets of accounts)
  • Prepare monthly/annual financial reports, cash flow statements, and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with GST, tax filing, CPF, and other statutory submissions.
  • Monitor budgets, expense control, and internal financial reporting.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and government authorities.

2. HR Operations

  • Handle Employment Pass, Dependant Pass, and Long-Term Visit Pass applications and subsequent renewals for clients.
  • Manage Singapore PR and Singapore Citizenship applications & subsequent REP renewal for clients.
  • Maintain HR records, employment contracts, and personnel files.
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations and HR best practices.
  • Liaise with government agencies to enquire or resolve application issues.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting and HR, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Proven experience in handling full sets of accounts.
  • Experienced in managing 20-30 clients full sets of accounts independently.
  • Budgeting and analysis.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Familiarity with MOM work pass application systems and labour laws.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to speak and write Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.
