Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial reporting, analysis, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial and statutory accounting for assigned entities.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and year-end reporting.
- Analyse work-in-progress (WIP) and provide insights on project profitability and cost efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance, including gross profit margins by product group and region.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes at the group level.
- Prepare and review key financial indicators and trend analysis.
- Liaise with auditors and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
- Handle tax matters, including GST filings and corporate tax coordination.
- Work with company secretaries on statutory and regulatory filings.
- Support process improvements and other finance-related initiatives as required.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Relevant accounting experience; exposure to the construction industry is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with SAP is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
