The Role
This position will be responsible for group consolidation and management reporting for the assigned portfolio of companies.
Job Responsibilities
- Understand and is able to prepare and review consolidation proofs such as proofs of hedging reserves, foreign currency translation reserves, investment in associate.
- Able to prepare group consolidation and various management reports , in accordance with the statutory requirements as well as company policies and procedures.
- Assist team with implementation of new consolidation Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tool, including performance of UATs and parallel runs
- Assist team with timely and accurate preparation and analysis of the group financial and management reports
- Assist in the annual audit process, tax filing matters as well as any ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
- Other duties include Liaising with the overseas finance team for the submission and analysis of reports and for the group's year-end audit matters.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant post-qualification experiences.
- Well-versed in SFRS, tax regulations and MS Excel.
- Experience with SAP system and/or real estate knowledge will have an added advantage.
- Meticulous, ability to work independently as well as being a good team player.
- Other attributes includes being responsible, organised and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
