Job Description
We are looking for an Accountant / Senior Accountant to join a dynamic finance team. The designation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements for group financial and management reporting purposes
- Manage accounts receivable function, including credit review and receipt
- Manage fixed asset function and assist in annual budgeting process
- Prepare monthly financial and management reports
- Assist in the review process for overseas subsidiaries accounts
- Review internal processes and controls and recommend changes where necessary to ensure compliance
- Support the accounting team in audit, year-end closing and compliance-related activities
- Perform ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor of Accountancy or equivalent accounting qualification (e.g. ISCA, ACCA, CPA, etc.)
- Minimum 3–5 years relevant experience in auditing and/or accounting, including financial reporting and group consolidation
- Strong understanding of IFRS and exposure to local statutory reporting
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with overseas subsidiary teams in China
- Proficient in MS Office including advanced Excel skills; SAP experience is advantageous
