Manage the full spectrum of accounting operations for the company's Singapore and Thailand offices.
Job description
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting
Compile and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring the accuracy of reports and supporting schedules as well as their timely
submission.
General Ledger Management
Oversee general ledger activities, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and end of period closing processes.
Daily Accounting Operations
Execute day to day financial tasks such as processing payments, collaborating with the Shared Services Centre to track non trade expenses, and managing accounts receivable follow ups.
Credit Control Management
Manage accounts receivable for an assigned portfolio of customers provide customer service and relevant business information as needed to support receivables collection monitor account balances and aging schedules contact customers regarding delinquent invoices verify and record disputed charges and investigate unapplied cash and open credits in accordance with local policies.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure full compliance with all local statutory requirements and internal company policies.
Audit Coordination
Facilitate external audit processes by preparing required documentation and providing clear, timely explanations to auditors.
Budgeting and Forecasting
Contribute to the development, preparation, and analysis of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Specialized Responsibilities
Be responsible for corporate tax filing and employee reimbursement processing.
Additional Requirements for Thailand Office
Handle daily operational management tasks. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong sense of accountability, and the ability to effectively manage cross functional collaboration.
Job Specifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or an equivalent qualification.
5 years of relevant accounting/finance experience in large scale companies Audit experience at a reputable large accounting firm or Big 4 is highly advantageous.
Possession of CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant) certification is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Excel working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
Exceptional analytical thinking and problem solving capabilities.
Fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) proficiency in Cantonese is a bonus.
Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents will be given priority in the hiring process.
